A quiet studio inside the Medical Excellence Clinic in southwest Las Vegas. Here is exactly what happens at a first neurofeedback evaluation or a first massage, so you can arrive relaxed.
Book in Acuity and complete the short intake. Come with clean, dry hair (no gel or heavy product) so the sensors read well. Eat normally; skip extra caffeine.
We talk about what brought you in, what you've tried, and what care you're getting. If you're a veteran we'll cover the VA pathway and the 20% rate.
A brief questionnaire-based assessment selects a starting protocol. It is not a medical diagnosis and there is no needle, current, or injection — sensors only listen.
A few sensors are placed on your scalp and ears with a little paste. You sit back and watch flowing visuals and sound that respond to your own brain activity. Most people find it deeply relaxing.
We ask how it felt and talk honestly about a realistic course — single sessions or a package — and about anything your clinician should know.
Choose a modality and length in Acuity (full-body, deep tissue, Thai, prenatal, lymphatic, orthopedic, craniosacral, head massage). A short health form covers injuries, surgery, pregnancy, and pressure preference. Details and prices for every modality are on the massage therapy page.
Your therapist reviews the form with you and confirms focus areas. Post-surgical lymphatic work requires your surgeon's clearance.
Private, draped, at your pressure. Thai massage is done clothed on a mat; bring or wear loose clothing for it.
Drink water, take it easy for an hour. We'll suggest a sensible interval if you want to make it regular — no pressure to buy anything.
